VIDEO: Meet the Amazing...5-Year Old Screenwriter of Fast and Furious 5
April 29, 2011
For most of us gearheads, the Fast and Furious franchise is just another way to entertain ourselves for a couple of hours with plenty of fast cars, scantily dressed women and over the top brain-bashing action scenes - nothing more, nothing less.
Does that mean we shouldn’t criticize it? Of course not. And what a better to do it than through a sarcastically amusing (in a tongue in cheek manner) sketch that comes to us courtesy of the folks over at The Onion.
The Onion news network joked about the low quality of the latest installment of the series, Fast 5, which hit the big screen today, in its Today Now show by interviewing one of film’s screenwriters…a five-year old kindergartener named Chris Morgan. Enjoy the clip after the jump.

This has to be the best (as in funny) news title of the day: "Donald Duck Arrested for Driving Drunk". Suffice to say, the protagonist in this DUI incident isn't Disney's famous feathered cartoon character but a 51-year-old man from Massilon, Ohio, who happens to have the same name.

VIDEO: Dacia / Renault Worker Tries to Fix Door Problem at Production Line

[Update: Some of our readers pointed out that one or more workers seen in the video appear to talk in Russian, so it's obviously Renault's factory in Moscow]
Here's a short clip from Dacia's Romanian factory (unless we're mistaken and it's from one of Renault's other plants that also produce Dacia models), showing a worker on the production line trying to fix a problem with the passenger-side doors on what looks to be a Sandero hatchback.
The poor guy tries everything; from repeatedly tapping the locks with a hammer and slamming the doors in numerous ways to even trying to pull the door down, but nothing seems to be working as the doors simply refuse to close properly. Watch the video after the break.

Vintage Sleeper Caught in Action at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show...
October 22, 2009
In our 'high-octane' world, the term "sleeper" usually refers to cars that while appearing to be standard, have high-performance capabilities. We're not sure what's hidden underneath the hood err... skin of this fellow journalist (?) that was caught snoozing with his shoes off at a bench somewhere at the Tokyo Motor Show, but it certainly made our day. Feel free to amuse us with your comments after the break.Photo credit: UP
The Swiss Love Bus: Bernmobil's Airport Bus Theme is a Bit Strange...
June 19, 2009
We don't know about you, but the first thing that popped into mind upon seeing Bernmobil's airport transporter was a small red bus making some kinky back-door love to a light-blue colored bus. Even though Neue Lgk, the Swiss advertising agency that came up with the idea, probably intended to show a bus 'taking off' for the airport, once you've made the abovementioned association, there's no return ticket from the state of lost innocence...Via: Coloribus

June 17, 2009
We'd like to give the driver of this Ford Transit Connect the benefit of the doubt, but somehow we don't think that he stopped to ask the provocatively (un)dressed brunette for directions - that is, unless he meant directions for the delivery of the payload in the 'pantalon' cargo area... This humorous incident was caught by Google's 'Big Brother' street view camera in Madrid, Spain. If you want to take a look around -no need to explain- click through to play with Google's street view gadget.Via: Jalopnik
