As part of its never-ending cost cutting scheme, General Motors announced to its dealers that it has reduced the warranty terms on all Saabs sold in the United Statesfrom five-years or 100,000 milesto four-years or 50,000 miles. Surprisingly, the reduced warranty is effective immediately. Luckily for Saab dealers, GM decided to continue to offer free scheduled maintenance for three-years or 36,000 miles on Saab vehicles in order to compete with other luxury brands.
