Those of you interested had better hurry because the company will be accepting orders for the GT-R SpecV at Nissan High Performance Centres (NHPCs) across Europe only until January 22, 2010.
Key highlights of the SpecV model include a bevy of lightweight carbon-fiber parts, no rear seats, revised springs and fixed-rate dampers, carbon ceramic brake system from Brembo, a titanium exhaust system, bespoke Recaro carbon fibre bucket front seats and 20-inch Ray alloys with extra grippy tires.
Despite the fact that the maximum horsepower output remains unchanged, the engine's performance has been enhanced with a new high gear boost control device, which briefly increases boost of the twin turbochargers for greater torque in the intermediate-to-high speed ranges.
Nissan says that the upgrades on the SpecV amount to a weight saving of 60kg or 132 lbs over the standard GT-R.
In the UK, the SpecV is priced at £124,900 (based on 17.5% VAT and £405 RFL) which comes to around US$208,500 or €138,200.
